A recent blog post, developed in collaboration with Arm, helps illustrate the capabilities of edge vision/AI processing using the Arm v8 architecture and Arcturus Vision/AI Middleware. The blog post covers the performance achievable by leveraging the Arm v8 NEON® engine and utilizing the ArmNN® inference framework to accelerate the performance of a standard neural network detection model. Arcturus uses a complete vision detection pipeline to illustrate how it is possible to implement edge processing to detect a perpetrator stealing a delivery package from a house.
